If you’re a snorkeler, you know how frustrating it can be to have to clear water form your mask.  You’re cruising along, and something happens to flood your mask.  You have to reach up. press the top of the mask, blow-out the nose area, and then re-adjust.

But if you’ve used a mask with a blow-out valve, you’re in on a secret.  No reaching up to push, no readjusting, just exhaling.
