
Okra pancakes from Watershed
I experienced these litle gems on my trip to the south. I had them at “Watershed,” the restaurant project owned by the Indigo Girls’ Emily Saliers.
They’re made of thinly-sliced okra, some kind of bready and eggy batter, and then fried. Totally tasty. And the cucumber salad was good, to, dresed with creme fraiche. Yum.
