Bar Carlo yumminess

Portland is known for its great breakfast food.  I was recently introduced to a new place in SE that competes with the best places in town.  Bar Carlo on SE Foster features house-baked pastries and desserts, fantastic specials, crepes, egg sandwiches and more.

Housed in a great old building, the waiting area has board games, books and a pool table.  The dining area has big, beautiful windows.  And the food.  The food is fantastic.  I  had a wonderful plate of huevos rancheros and a lovely cappuccino.  Finding a new breakfast place is always awesome.
