P.S. FYI, and perhaps for a post another day, check out IDEA (Institute of Democratic Education in America). Hope that link works. A group of other educators and I are getting this organization off the ground, in the hopes of making American education joyful and relevant to real life. Sounds as if you have an interest in education and would get the work we're doing!
